TOOLS CHANGER

The tool changer is a 6 axis robot, supply with a two fingers manipulator.

Fixed and level on the ground in his center, it allows an interpolation of the 6 axis:

Taking and removing tools from the modules,
The exchange of tools on the vertical or horizontal pins of the machine,
This manipulator is controlled by an independent controller, interfaced with the numerical control of the machine via a Profibus link.


MILLING UNITS STOCKAGE AND TRANSFER

Located on the left of the machine, between the column and the tool storage, the transfer to the loading area is made by a hydraulic movement.

An empty slot is positioned under the ram to remove the milling unit; the ram returns to the standby position, the digitalized rotation of the support make it possible to install the new milling unit

It allows to store four milling unit, each one is coded.
